The stunning coral reefs and the over 1000 fish species swimming in the Indian Ocean makes diving and snorkeling at the Maldives one of the most sought-after activities for professional and amateur divers. The Diving Center of the Resort also offers the support of certified PADI professionals for guests willing to try to obtain the PADI license.
A scenic seaplane journey from the Malé airport will cover the distance in 40 minutes highlighting the beauty of the islands and the turquoise sea of the Maldives. Alternatively, a 30-minute domestic flight to the Ifuru Domestic Airport (particularly convenient to easily connect with the Malé airport in case of evening’s international flights) is also available and a 30 minutes speedboat ride will complete the journey to reach the Emerald Maldives Resort.

• All visitors to the Maldives must possess a valid passport and return air ticket. A complimentary, 30-day tourist visa will be issued upon arrival.
• If guests are arriving from Yellow Fever-infected areas, they must produce a vaccination certificate.
• Guests may not bring alcohol, pork products, pornography or weapons into the Maldives. These items will be confiscated at the airport and disposed by the airport authorities.
