We visited the Conrad Maldives for seven nights (Jan 10-17) and it was a spectacular week. I will offer mostly glowing thoughts with a few recommendations. We stayed the first three nights in a 2BR deluxe beach villa. Then, we were given a complimentary upgrade to TWO over water bungalows for the final four nights. Wow was that great! Both living spaces were beautiful. The deluxe beach villa is much more conducive with its layout for a family than a group off friends. This is so primarily because of the bathroom and outdoor shower in which privacy can be a little challenge. But, when you are in paradise, you adapt willingly and eagerly.
The overwater bungalows were beautifully laid out and made our stay even better than great. The food was really good, too. The prices are high but that was to be expected. The special evening grill BBQ was pricy but the food and drinks were excellent. The whale shark excursion was great. The snorkeling was best I ever experienced.
The service was top notch…lovely people and amazing attentiveness. They were very faithful in covid safety measures…out temperatures were taken at every venue/event but it did impact our enjoyment. I was do pleased not to have to wear a mask for the week with all the other measures in place.
My primary suggestion is to upgrade the lounge at the airport. It was ok and the service was great. The furniture and accommodations seemed tired and worn. But, we were only there for an hour so this is minor. My hats off to Karla and the team there. It was an outstanding week and would return there in a heartbeat. Thanks for everythin
A group of 6 friends, we have just spent the last couple of weeks at Niyama, just as the Coronavirus pandemic took hold globally. Despite the immense pressure, with flight restrictions and cancellations, extremely worrying news stories from around the world, and our anxieties for our children, families and friends at home, the whole island team at Niyama ensured that our holiday remained perfect. The quality of service was impeccable, and it was obvious that the staff took great pride in the service they provided, and also in the resort itself. The personal butler service is the best we have experienced, very easy to make arrangements, always on hand, yet never intrusive. Thank you so much Renjian. The food was always wonderful, and again the staff made every effort to ensure that we enjoyed every meal. The dining experience at Edge and Tribal restaurants is exceptional, really top class, hard to believe how good, considering the fact we were on a small island in the middle of the Indian ocean. We would like to pass on our best wishes to the General Manager, Haf, his management team, and the whole resort team……thank you all so much for your help and support and we hope that the current disruption is short-lived. We are thinking of you xx
It was my first trip to Maldives and I am so happy I have chosen Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.
It looked distinctive even in the pictures but my actual visit has overcome my expectations
I felt so special and cared about at Conrad.
I had my birthday there and the hotel kindly upgraded my stay.
My friend and I had personal assistant Mohammed Niyaz. He was amazing dealing with any of our requests and sometimes very fast changing plans.
Specially organised for us cheese fondue was extremely pleasant (we were late to book this event in time)
Our trip to see a whale shark was amazing as well – thanks to Abdullah and the captain and the whole team of our boat. We found the shark only by the end of our trip so the whole team stayed longer to let us enjoy the spectacular meeting with this big beautiful and harmless creature.
Underwater restaurant is an absolutely unreal experience.
Thanks to the housekeeping and Executive Housekeeper Abdulla Rasheed for very pleasant presents and surprises
Thanks to all personal of Conrad Maldives and the beauty of Rangali island for my unbelievably wonderful birthday and holiday
