I returned to Kanuhura for New year 2020/21.
Clency Romeo and his team appear to have worked hard over the lock down break to ensure the resort was in terrific shape. The facilities are excellent, it is particularly strong on cuisine, with two, first rate, restaurants – Italian and Indian Grill – to supplement the main dining facilities.
For my family, it is the ambience created by the staff, which generates a warm , informal environment – almost like staying with friends.
There are numerous resources for activities: diving, water sports and gym, are all professionally run. The nearby marine life is diverse and abundant – the island now has a resident marine biologist to help educate, and we were able to participate in a little bit of reef- rebuilding.
The required COVID changes had been throughly, but discretely, integrated into the hotel operation.
All the guests I spoke to were uniformly positive. This is a truly first rate experience.
