    • Top hotel in paradise!

It was our second time at Como Maalifushi and it was a great experience again. We love it. High standard in accommodation with contemporary interior. Food is excellent – there are 2 restaurants: Madi offers excellent local and Indian Ocean food and Tai is a Japanese restaurant serving amazing fish. Staff is very well trained, extremely friendly and helpful. Diving is fabulous. Overall, this resort can be highly recommended.

    • Absolute paradise. Trip of a lifetime & outstanding in every way

We have just returned from our 9 day honeymoon at the COMO Maalifushi. We can honestly say that it was the best week of our lives. Everything about staying on the island is incredible – the accommodation, the food, the people, the gym, the spa.

Pictures do not do the tranquility and feeling of truly being on an idillic faraway paradise justice.

We particularly loved the dolphin spotting trip, the incredible Tai restaurant (some of the best Japanese food we have ever had), pristine white beaches, friendly and authentic service and the spa. All treatments at the spa were carried out by obvious experts in their field.

We were lucky enough to have Sohah Mohammed assisting with arrangements before we arrived and helping make our trip once in a lifetime. Whilst on the island we were lucky enough to have the kind and thoughtful Thoha assisting us.

Don’t hesitate, book to visit if you can.

    • Fantastic Family Christmas Break

A true 5 star hotel in every way. A high end luxury resort in the south Maldives. It starts the moment you are greeted at the international airport and taken by private SUV to the sea plane executive lounge. The seaplane journey is 30 minutes too long but does offer great views of the islands along the way.
Once at the resort you enter a covid free, mask less, back to normality bubble. Every traveler has to test negative before arriving in the Maldives and all the staff quarantine for 14 days before starting work. The staff are also subject to random testing. There is a doctor on the island who preformed our PCR test which we needed for the flight home. The results were received the next day. It was lovely to be on a private island cocooned from the pandemic.
There are only 66 rooms/villas on the island and even the smallest villas are huge, with nearly all having a private pool. Our water suite was fantastic, easily big enough for 4, with a huge deck, pool and sala to enjoy the daytime sun. There were steps down to the lagoon so you can snorkel straight from your own room. Our room was great to view the sun rise, however it was in the shade from 4.30 on wards. You can go to the main pool/beach for late afternoon sun.
      The Spa – perfect.
I used the gym a couple of times which was well equipped and empty and also the steam/sauna/plunge pool in the changing rooms.
The diving was superb, there are about 20 amazing dive sites only 20 minutes by boat from the hotel. Their own reef was also great for snorkeling and an introductory dive. The dolphin trip was a highlight, we saw over 100 spinner dolphins during the cruise. They did both enjoy the games room, but this is unsupervised. In summing up an expensive, luxurious, relaxing trip at the Como Maalifushi. Highly recommended.
